Jordan is known for medical tourism according to Wikipedia. It is also a peaceful country. Its resources are stretched, however, and although it has taken refugees from the neighbouring regions, it does not have a WEALTH of natural resources.
From as early as 1948, Jordan has accepted refugees from multiple neighbouring countries in conflict.
