Something interesting happened to me today! I got a vision of a particular cafe somewhere a little north west of where my home is, and dutifully got into my car to get to this place that my inner voice was calling me to!
I don’t want to mention the suburb, but when I had parked my car and got on my pegs and into this cafe, I arrived to find that the line for the cashier was at least 20 people long (maybe more). It snaked all through the cafe and perhaps out the back as well.
As I wanted an iced coffee, and thought I might pick up some salads as well, I rapidly changed my plan and got out of this cafe, because I only really had 15 – 20 minutes before I had to leave for work.
I decided to try and find another cafe. Not too far up the street, on a side street, I remembered a cafe there, but it must be closed on Mondays. And so I continued to walk north along this main arterial shopping precinct street. I walked for a good five minutes, , , quite a couple of blocks away from the original cafe, and COULD NOT FIND ANOTHER cafe for the LIFE OF ME.
There were some restaurants, and a few other retail shops but NO CAFES.
I thought it was quite insane, being as I am used to the environment of my main street in my home suburb, where every second shop is some form of cafe (or at least that is what it feels like). And so my mind put two and two together, and I realised that what TBA, ummmm, aye.
